This Privacy Policy explains how Pomo Pals ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Pomo Pals mobile app (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the account identifier and the name/email you choose to share (you may use Apple's "Hide My Email"). Passwords for email sign-up are handled securely by our authentication provider and are never stored by us in plain text.
Profile information. A display name you choose, an automatically generated friend code, your selected pet, and focus stats such as your weekly focus minutes and streak (used for the friends leaderboard).
Your content and activity. Focus sessions you complete, and the tasks, habits, and reminders you create. This data is stored on your device and synced to your account so it's available across devices.
Social features. If you add friends, we store the friend connections you create and your online/last-active status. If you send or receive messages with friends, we store those messages so they can be delivered.
Notifications. If you enable notifications, we store a push notification token for your device so we can deliver reminders and friend messages.
Purchases. Purchases of coins or Pomo Pals Pro are processed by Apple. Our payments provider (RevenueCat) receives purchase/receipt information and an app-generated user identifier to validate and restore your purchases. We do not receive or store your credit card or payment details.
We do NOT collect: your precise or coarse location, your contacts, your photos, or any advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
